I have not written one word toward my book since starting this blog.
I've done LOTS of blogging HERE and a little HERE, but nothing to help accomplish my dream. Tomorrow morning, I have a long run and then I'm sure there will be other weekend stuff to do.
I'm going to aim for 30 minutes tomorrow. I will fit it in somehow.
I'm taking the creative writing class and we have to start defining a character. I've been thinking about her and when I started writing...I just wrote and stopped because someone came into my office. It was a really cool experience. I remember Diana Galbadon, my favorite author, talking about how she just started writing and had to figure out how her character got where she was at. The character already had a personality, qualities, stubborness and Diana wrote about it. Diana talked about in a podcast how she discovered another one of her characters was blind. It was so interesting. If interested I think you can still download her podcasts in itunes.
